Leading an interactive training program for a trade association

An industry trade association brought Dave in to deliver a 6-session export training program for 120 of its members. He brought in a different guest expert for each of the sessions to dive deep into their unique areas of expertise (international sales, culture and negotiating, online market research, international finance, supply chain & logistics, and IP protection), provided useful templates, and worked closely with participants to help them develop their own actionable Export Plans.

The companies gained numerous insights from Dave’s experience, learned the right questions to ask to help them find the right answers, built their confidence by realizing that international business was really not that difficult after all, and most succeeded by taking action with their new plans.

The trade association, meanwhile, received extremely positive reviews by bringing its members a great program that directly helped their businesses … exactly what trade associations are meant to do!
